The FIU Panthers are the athletic teams of Florida International University , a public university located in Miami, Florida, United States. The Panthers compete in NCAA Division I athletics, and are currently members of Conference USA. Spring 2014 enrollment at FIU is expected to be 54,000 students. 125,000 alumni currently living in South Florida. Though impressive, that figure is anticipated to grow drastically, as 100,000 students are projected to graduate FIU over the next decade.
