The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, doing business as Amtrak , is a government-owned corporation that was organized on May 1, 1971, to provide intercity passenger train service in the United States. "Amtrak" is a portmanteau of the words "America" and "track". It is headquartered at Union Station in Washington, D.C.
Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival is produced anually by Alliance of Women Filmmakers Inc. a non-profit 501c(3)organization established 10 years ago with a goal to increase opportunities for women filmmakers to share their stories with the world. Each year in during women's history month in March the festival features films made by women of diverse back grounds from all over the world.
