It was seized by U.S. financial regulators and immediately handed over to a new holding company on 21 May 2009, in the second largest bank failure of the Financial crisis of 2007–2010. The latest information before the bankruptcy credited BankUnited with about 2.1% of all deposits in Florida, ranking it 8th in the state.

The Boca Raton Bowl is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sanctioned Division I college football bowl game[1] played in Boca Raton, Florida at FAU Stadium, which is located on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. The bowl was founded on October 10, 2013, and was first played as part of the 2014 schedule of postseason bowl games.[2] The bowl game will be televised by ESPN.[1][3]
