In 2003 through a process or personal and interpersonal growth, this small European event became the world championship for Body- and Facepainter and is now the largest event in the world of its kind. The World Bodypainting Festival was the founding of the modern bodypainting art movement. Events, TV Shows and a big industry is following the success of the original and first event.
