The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) was established in January 1997 with the objectives to increase the awareness of Dubai to global audiences and to attract tourists and inward investment into the emirate. DTCM is the principal authority for the planning, supervision and development of the tourism sector in Dubai.
The Dubai Tennis Championships is a professional tennis tournament owned and organized by Dubai Duty Free and held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on outdoor hardcourts. The tournament organizes both a men's and women's event. The tournament takes place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
