One giveaway winner will be provided with the fully furnished 2,300-square-foot home plus $100,000 and a 2012 GMC ® Terrain ®. Designed by Kemp Hall Studio, the 2012 HGTV Green Home is a modern family farmhouse with a design inspired by Southeastern culture and regional architecture. Located in an idyllic, eco- progressive community 25 minutes south of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International airport, the home features an open floor plan with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Constructed by FrontPorch Builders, the HGTV Green Home combines traditional beauty with 21st-century responsible living, showcasing construction and design elements such as solar panels and concrete countertops as well as recycled and recyclable rugs that are known to contribute to an energy efficient, cleaner and healthier living environment.
