The Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) is an auto insurance company. It is the second largest auto insurer in the United States, after State Farm. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway that as of 2014 provided coverage for more than 22 million motor vehicles and cycles owned by more than 13 million policy holders.
The school's sports teams are called the Pirates. They participate in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big East Conference. The college established its first basketball squad in 1903. Seton Hall canceled football (which was played in Division III) in 1982.
