Luxco, Inc. is a privately owned producer and marketer of distilled beverages and liqueurs. Formerly called the David Sherman Corporation, the company was renamed in 2006. Founded in 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, by David Sherman Sr. and Paul A. Lux, the company sells beverages across the United States with some international trade. Some brands of Luxco are Arrow liqueurs, Caffé Lolita, El Mayor, Everclear, Ezra Brooks Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey, Juarez tequila, Pearl vodka, Purple Passion, Rebel Yell whiskey, Saint Brendan's Irish Cream, Salvador's, Tvarscki vodka, and Yago Sant'gria, a sangria.
The Pitchfork Music Festival is an annual summer music festival organized by Pitchfork Media and held in Union Park in Chicago, IL. The festival, which is normally held over three days in July, focuses primarily on artists and bands from alternative rock, rap & hip-hop, electronica, and dance music, although it has also included acts from hardcore punk, experimental/avant-garde rock and jazz in its lineups.
