Škoda Auto (Czech pronunciation: [??koda] ( listen)), more commonly known as Škoda, is an automobile manufacturer based in the Czech Republic. Škoda became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group in 2000,[1] positioned as the entry brand to the group.[2] Its total global sales reached 939,200 cars in 2012.[3]
The Czech Olympic Committee is the National Olympic Committee representing the Czech Republic. It is one of the oldest NOCs in the world, being founded in 1899. It was transformed into Czechoslovak Olympic Committee in 1919 and reconstituted under its original name in 1992, being formally recognized by the IOC again in 1993.
