Sport Clips is a chain of male-oriented haircut salons based in Georgetown, Texas, United States. As of 2011, it operates approximately 800 franchised stores. In February 2009, it was listed in Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the fastest growing franchises based on operating units. The chain caters primarily to men and boys. In advertising the chain touts the broadcasting of sports programming throughout the stores. Sports memorabilia and logo items are displayed and are also offered for sale at some locations.
The Memphis Redbirds are the Triple-A minor league baseball affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They play their home games at AutoZone Park in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The stadium's capacity is 14,320. They entered the Pacific Coast League as an expansion team in 1998, and were owned as a non-profit community entity. In September 2008, the Cardinals extended their player development agreement with the Redbirds through 2012. The Redbirds are currently run by Global Spectrum, a Comcast-owned company.
