About Sponsor:

The Salt River Project (SRP) is the umbrella name for two separate entities: the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, an agency of the state of Arizona that serves as an electrical utility for the Phoenix metropolitan area, and the Salt River Valley Water Users' Association, a utility cooperative that serves as the primary water provider for much of central Arizona. It is one of the primary public utility companies in Arizona. The name, Rio Salado Project, (Spanish for Salt River Project) is used to refer to the improvement projects along the Salt River through the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, is not related to SRP.

The 22nd Annual Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival is the largest celebration in the Southwest commemorating Mexico’s historic victory over the French Army in the 1826 Battle of Puebla. This two day family festival will see approximately 75,000 on-site attendees as well as an extended audience of nearly 7.5 million. Held in the streets of Downtown Phoenix next to the Major League sports venues, the Cinco De Mayo Phoenix Festival has attracted over 2 million attendees, has given away over $560,000 in youth scholarships and and 2015 will add a Street Soccer Tournament, USA Boxing Championships and a whole new venue design with shade around every corner.
