Formed in 2010 as the successor company to the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, UC Health, the University of Cincinnati’s affiliated health system, generates $1.2 billion in operating revenue. The system includes UC Physicians, the region’s largest multi-specialty physician group with over 650 physicians; University Hospital, the region’s largest hospital and only academic medical center; West Chester Hospital, Cincinnati’s newest hospital; Drake Center, Ohio’s largest specialty long-term acute care hospital; Lindner Center of HOPE, Ohio’s premier mental health hospital; and several affiliated institutes. UC Health employs approximately 9,500.
The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon is a 42.2-kilometre (26.2 mi) race run the first Sunday of every May in Cincinnati, Ohio. Its first run was in 1999.
