The Xbox is a sixth-generation video game console manufactured by Microsoft. It was released on November 15, 2001 in North America, February 22, 2002 in Japan, and March 14, 2002 in Australia and Europe and is the predecessor to the Xbox 360. It was Microsoft's first foray into the gaming console market, and competed with Sony's PlayStation 2, Sega's Dreamcast, and Nintendo's GameCube. The integrated Xbox Live service allowed players to play games online.

At 24 consecutive days, the State Fair of Texas is the longest-running fair in the nation, as well as one of the largest. As shown by its tremendous growth, the Fair is able to continuously evolve while staying true to its original purpose. Through its rich and lengthy history, it remains evident that the State Fair serves not only as an annual celebration, but as a unique destination that brings people together and allows them to create lifelong memories.
