Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks a Vice President, Media Sponsorship for the Creative Advertising department. The position is responsible for shaping the above-the-line strategy, the creative work and the day-to-day running and delivery of media sponsorships/promotions for Warner Bros. films.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages media sponsorships and oversees the day-to-day development and delivery of advertising campaign strategies and materials for upcoming films.
  • Generates new creative pitches for media sponsorships.
  • Conceptually creates advertising for print, television and radio.
  • Selects creative vendors for concepts and execution of additional content.
  • Monitors the development of the campaigns.
  • Presents campaigns to key Warner Bros. executives, filmmakers and artists.
  • Maintains and approves budgets.
  • Attends promotional shoots on set and in locations in Los Angeles.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties and special projects as needed.


    Required Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 10 years experience in creative advertising at either a studio or creative agency.
  • Must have knowledge of marketing and media sufficient enough to develop creative strategies.
  • Must have sound creative judgment and be able to analyze the effectiveness of creative advertising.
  • Must maintain good and productive relationships with key agency and vendor contacts.
  • Must have the ability to manage complexity and show a track record of reliable delivery of advertising campaigns.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend complex technical issues and adjust plans and communications accordingly.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and present campaigns to management and filmmakers.
  • Must have the ability to monitor and maintain creative budgets.
  • Must have managerial/supervisory skills in order to effectively supervise and evaluate professional and administrative personnel.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must have knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation and English usage.
  • Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
