We have a Manager, Sports Marketing position in our NY office with one of our joint ventures.

The Role


Reporting to the Vice President, the Manager will assist in handling the coordination of sports marketing requests, communications and tactical activities across a variety of projects. This will include creative ideation, consumer insights and integrated campaign planning on behalf of talent and events.


Responsibilities

  • Identify brand-building opportunities, and develop and execute marketing programs to help athletes strengthen their personal brands
  • Assist in internal brainstorming sessions to generate marketing ideas
  • Leverage consumer research and lifestyle trends in driving overarching strategies
  • Work with both in-house resources and external partners to manage integrated campaigns including media, digital/social touch points, creative deliverables and more to ensure the success of athlete initiatives and company events
  • Measure the success of various marketing campaigns
  • Help maintain internal list of initiatives for each client and the master schedule of upcoming milestones


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing and/or media planning
  • Proven understanding of social media platforms and digital content
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Keynote
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Experience in the sports industry is a plus
