One of Live Nation joint ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic employee to direct sports marketing and brand activation that can develop and grow our clients’ brands. In addition to brand development of our clients, this position will work with the activation team to ensure that partnership elements are executed and the collaborations enhance client and partner brands. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sports with teams, league or media. They are creative, innovative, collaborative, passionate, high-energy, self-starter that can quickly adapt to the company culture and deliver opportunities to our athletes.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
Develop strategic plans for athletes and oversee implementation of marketing plans
Collaborate with all departments to ensure that brand guidelines for are enhanced through all programming and interaction
Build relationships with teams and leagues and leverage their assets to accomplish overall marketing goals
Develop a monthly report for ownership and clients
Execute marketing elements of brand contracts
Manage a staff to accomplish organizational goals while developing the individuals goals and strengths
Brand Activation
Participate in activation of partnerships at events
5 to 7 years of experience in marketing and partner activation
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in the sports and entertainment industry
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Strong management skills
Understanding of the media, entertainment, sports and music landscape
Creative thinking and the ability to generate out-of-the-box ideas/concepts
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of energy and commitment
Strong written and oral c
Communications skills – ability to communicate clearly and effectively
A clear understanding of the importance of client service is required
Must be able to work under tight deadlines to develop and execute strategic programs
