The Role:
Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking a Manager whom will be responsible for marketing for the sports division of Roc Nation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for athletes finding unique and creative ways to build their brands and fan base
Develop experiential marketing and storytelling opportunities for PR and digital
Build opportunities that assist branding, digital and philanthropy to accomplish company goals
Work with other departments ensuring we have a comprehensive brand strategy for each client and manage that strategy from conception through execution
Create opportunities to cross promote Roc Nation and Roc Nation Sports assets
Utilize company mandated tools to track marketing efforts
Execute marketing elements of corporate partner contracts
Manage monthly reporting for ownership and clients
Work with graphic design team to develop collateral for client needs
Build relationships with teams and leagues and leverage their assets to accomplish overall marketing goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 4-6 years of marketing experience
Experience in the sports industry
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
A strategic, critical and creative thinker with amazing storytelling skills who can work in a fast-paced startup environment
A strong passion for, and deep knowledge of, the brand-marketing ecosystem
A clear understanding of the importance of client service is required
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, concise and conversational manner
Must have keen attention to detail
Strong ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
Proven experience of delivering results with impact
Willingness to take smart risks and lead initiatives with confidence
Have a positive attitude and willingness to participate on projects and events in any way – big or small
