The primary role of the Sr Account Manager is to be the strategic liaison for clients and internal partners, as well as serve as the team lead overseeing day-to-day account work, and helping run point to identify, win and grow new business. The Sr Account Manager will interact with clients, prospects, direct reports and internal departments to fulfill contractual obligations, ensure positive client relationships, and exceed performance goals while growing revenue. The role will manage a regional team and lead the renewal process for assigned individual and team Partnership accounts, manage specific department responsibilities, and assist with day-to-day team functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team and support team revenue by overseeing day-to-day account work, and providing strategic guidance to ensure positive results are delivered.
Serve as account lead for Marquee and Platinum partnership accounts.
Plan and execute corporate partner contract activations, including but not limited to, digital signage and media, in-venue promotions, events and Topgolf Live activations, and partner marketing campaigns.
Prepare department documents including partner activation plans, media dashboards, partnership recaps, expense reports, budgets, and contracts.
Strategize renewal process, and identify / present upsell opportunities to individual and team accounts.
Work with partner marketing team to manage brand guidelines and guest experience standards.
Utilize CRM system to track all activity related to partners including deal points, financials, client profiles and client interactions.
Maintain thorough communication with Topgolf Corporate Offices, leadership and venues regarding Partner deliverables and activation.
Collaborate with Regional Sales Teams on proposal ideation, case studies and new inventory development.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration or related degree from an accredited college or university
7+ years of experience in sponsorships with a sports team or similar model, with proven successful track record
5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience with Salesforce / KORE or another CRM tool
Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently
Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally in a clear and concise manner; Adept at use of Excel and PowerPoint
Dependability – consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to Director’s/ Department Leadership instructions
Ability to sell incremental programs to existing partners
Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing work environment, and deliver on challenging demands
Interpersonal skills: works well in a team environment and has the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, as well as outside contacts

Able to travel to up to 15% for client meetings, touch points, events, etc.
