Reporting to the Manager of Partnership Development & Innovation, the Coordinator will be an integral part of the Commercial team and play a key role in tracking the sales process, researching brands, developing ideas, creating pitches and presentations, and assisting in the hand off of executed deals. The Coordinator needs to be detail oriented, able to multi-task, highly organized, have an interest in sales and getting the deal done, and a creative mind to think outside the box as we explore possible partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage all Sales Tracking Documents and Client Proposals (excel, google docs, ppt)
  • Support integration of Sales team with third-party partners
  • Support industry and category analyses during prospecting/sales process
  • Support and contribute to the internal brainstorm process of developing ideas for custom proposals
  • Coordinated with internal departments as needed to help them advance partner concepts
  • Support development of new presentations for prospective and renewal partners including coordination with internal groups to deliver specific elements of each presentation
  • Work with internal and freelance designers to build out the visual representation of each key marketing platform or activation
  • Actively contribute to the development of custom client decks and proposals with attention to detail and clear, concise communication style
  • Research and maintain a strong database of industry best practices in sports marketing across all leagues worldwide
  • Take on research assignments provided by various team members with opportunity to sit in on, contribute to and lead brainstorm sessions
  • Create and/or manage an existing CRM tool or system for the Corporate Partnership sales team – including accounts, contacts, fields and revenue reporting


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous work experience as a team coordinator or similar, marketing/sales, role where driving revenue was the goal
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports or entertainment marketing industry
  • Self-directed/self-starter individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, independent environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Clear communicator with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Possess personal drive to start a project and see it through to completion


    Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in a successful property, agency and/or brand experience with specific and tangible case studies of innovation
  • Hands on experience managing relationships with strategic partners
  • Experience working with and managing a CRM tool
  • Proficient skills in creating presentations and summaries in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Experience in analyzing and summarizing research data in presentations (e.g. Nielsen / Scarborough)
  • Experience effectively interacting internally with senior marketing management and externally with the senior executives of partners
  • Excellent presentation preparation skills and ability to work successfully with varied audiences (colleagues, business partners, collaborators, customers, and senior members of the organization)
  • Previous Olympic and/or Paralympic experience a plus
