UPS is seeking a Sponsorships and Events Specialist to provide daily project coordination, activation and program support for the Global Brand and Sponsorship group, including sponsorships for UPS golf and Formula 1/Ferrari. The Specialist assists with program planning, post-event reporting and budget reconciliation. He/She also provides on-site or office-based supervision for customer and employee events and programs as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborates directly with internal teams and external agency partners to support overall sponsorships strategy and activation
Works closely with business development teams to coordinate customer event details and materials
Serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing high level customer service and support in a timely and professional manner
Assists in managing overall sponsorship budgets, invoices, and vendor payments
Ensures all communications are created in accordance with corporate brand guidelines on a continual and consistent basis
Produces reports on project status, post-event learnings and recommendations, customer data analysis, and insights on usage of contractual sponsorship assets
Supports development of integrated marketing plans which include digital marketing programming and social media integration, including digital paid media efforts
Ability to complete time-sensitive tasks and support multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective collaboration skills with agency partners and cross-departmental teams
Demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software
Sponsorship marketing & event execution experience - Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field - Preferred
