A key member of the NBA 2K League's marketing and partnership management team, the Marketing Partnerships Analyst will be largely responsible for supporting the overall client portfolio from an administrative and project management perspective in the areas of sponsorship management, reporting, fulfillment, research, marketing activation, event execution, approvals and budgets. Additionally, this individual will support the implementation of all marketing initiatives through data analysis and a long term strategic marketing plan. This role will work directly with league resources to inform digital content production and identify industry trends that increase data collection, fan acquisition, viewership conversion, and partnership valuation through modern digital marketing and advertising techniques across platforms (website, email, mobile app, social, etc.).
Major Responsibility:
Serve as account manager for NBA 2K League partnerships
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of NBA 2K League's Corporate Partnerships business model, as well as the company's overall operational strategy and vision
Strengthen and grow positive relationships with NBA 2K League partners through touchpoint plans, meetings, phone calls, and partner events
Plan and execute corporate partner contract activations, including but not limited to, digital signage and media, in-venue promotions, events, and partner marketing campaigns
Prepare department documents including partner activation plans, media dashboards, partnership recaps, expense reports, budgets, forward thinking and contracts
Maintain thorough communication with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, venues, partners, cross-departments (i.e., GP, Marketing, TMBO)
Strategize renewal process, and identify / present upsell opportunities for NBA 2K League's partners
Maintain meticulous records, tracking and reports of all property assets and marketing activation programs, including deal points, financials, client profiles and client interactions
Assist with planning of partnered events, including B2B opportunities such as a partner summit
Leverage data, research and studies for NBA 2K League partners (i.e. Twitch, GumGum, Nielson)
Generate integrated marketing ideas for prospects and identify industry standard methodologies
Collaborate with internal groups to develop key marketing initiatives and season long marketing plans
Minimum 1-2+ years of business experience in partnership management, digital marketing, social media, or data analyst roles
High proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint and Excel
A successful track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external clients
Analytical experience a plus
Agency, sports/entertainment or marketing experience (internship or entry level position)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative marketing activation programs
