Athletes are a cornerstone of the Red Bull brand. Their stories, successes, and sportive innovations authentically embody the brand attributes, personality traits and product efficacy to consumers daily.
You will lead the development of national/global athlete campaigns and projects that require a high degree of collaboration, reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Athlete Marketing. This can include national product marketing campaigns or national media projects around some of our athletes' biggest career moments. You will guide excellent execution of these projects across all areas of Red Bull's marketing mix while ensuring sportive credibility. In cooperation with regional Sports Marketing teams, the Manager, National Athlete Marketing will use full marketing capabilities to lead consumer impact and deliver value to our athletes, brand and product.

NATIONAL LEVEL ATHLETE ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMS
Maximize consumer impact and media outcomes for the most significant US athletes and their activities
In collaboration with regional Athlete Marketing Managers (AMM) drive the creation of marketing, communication, and performance plans for the athletes with the highest potential for national and global impact
Work with the Sr. Director and Directors of Athlete Marketing to build business cases to gain understanding from company partners to secure resources to accomplish projects with national/global impact
Evolve a high level of sports to inform athlete marketing strategy and identify athlete marketing opportunities
ATHLETE MARKETING TALENT & ROSTER AMPLIFICATION
Maintain a pulse on the current athlete roster and the up-and-coming talent landscape in the US
Develop a network through multiple sport industries and playgrounds
Build complementary relationships with national/mainstream athletes or teams while empowering regional AMMs as primary management contact and strategic decision-makers
Lead efforts to develop creative concepts for projects, marketing tactics, and content creation
Consider the landscape of media rights, social media, name and likeness and how they pertain to athlete contracts and our goals.
Identify latest playgrounds, athletic trends, sports media rights, innovations in the sports and athlete space, new technology and applications.
COACH & DEVELOP
Collaborate with Red Bull Media House, Brand team, Communications, Digital, Consumer Collecting, and Sales to authentically integrate athletes into 'big moment' activations
Lead internal communications efforts to deliver relevant athlete stories and successes in an platform
Collaborate with internal partners to create reach and engagement metrics of athletes brand image and product positioning for consumers
Provide insight on the relevance of top-level athletes to the business and brand positioning with target consumers
Refine and support centralized processes (i.e. athlete branding, product, and equipment)
Use NSF and other third-party relationships to communicate product efficacy through athletes to participants, fans, and consumers
3+ years marketing experience, Sports Marketing experience
Experience leading high-profile/nationally relevant sports marketing campaigns and talent management
Flexibly work with athletes/teams across diverse sport playgrounds - direct experience across multiple sports
Experience in endorsement agreements – securing name and likeness rights and usage
Experience in consumer product marketing for a 18-39 target consumer – Beverage experience
Experience planning, organizational, and project management competencies
Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
English, additional languages an advantage
