Lead, manage and develop strategic sports partnerships, advertisements, promotions, events, and evaluate relevant programs across the organization. The Partnerships Manager identifies and provides strategic leadership, vision and direct management for all of KUS’s key strategic partnerships (NBA/College Football Hall of Fame/NFL/ Emmys/ Red Bull, etc.), player endorsements. Must be a working manager, in addition to overseeing various sports marketing staff and direct management of agency partners, etc. Ensure that all proper finance, legal and product approvals are obtained and recorded prior to start of events/programs.


Major Responsibilities


Priority 1st - 40%

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for KUS’s key Sports Marketing platforms and activities, including KMC’s Global Sports Marketing platforms. Manage contract negotiation and platform activation for the current and future partnerships. Plan and manage the partnership activations to achieve the partnership objectives. Work with other departments to integrate the partnerships to maximize the ROI (i.e. social/ media/ website/ PR/ etc.).


    Priority 2nd - 20%

  • Manage agency partners to ensure on-time execution of related projects. Must be able to work effectively and in collaboration with the partnerships & experiential team.


    Priority 3rd - 20%

  • Develop strategies for and implement experiential events and partnerships (Esports, ATL Airport, BRAKES, other programs). Work with the Events & Shows Manager for Autoshow efforts (Ride and Drives)Develop strategies for and implement experiential events and partnerships (Esports, VidCon, ATL Airport, BRAKES).     Priority 4th - 10%

  • Assist Regions and DMGs with localization of national sponsorship efforts. Assist Regions with evaluations of local sponsorship opportunities and their alignment with KUS’s overall partnership strategy


    Priority 5th - 10%

  • Oversee and manage the budget for each partnership programs.


    Required Skills

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • MBA or Master’s Degree a plus


    Overall Experience

  • 7-10 years Total Marketing Experience (client side preferred/corporate)


    Directly Related Experience

  • Highly motivated sports enthusiast who has knowledge and direct experience operating in the sports marketing space
  • Able to operate independently on various tasks and projects
  • Strong interpersonal, excellent communication skills and solid project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with flexibility, high energy, patience and enthusiasm
  • Ability to lead and direct agency partners


    Other Requirements:

  • Travel will be required domestically and/or internationally for sponsorship oversight.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP
  • Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
