The Hollywood Arab Film Festival is the first combined 501c3 nonprofit and film festival of its kind held annually in April which is the Arab American Heritage Month in Hollywood, California and virtually for a global audience. The mission of the Hollywood Arab Film Festival is to provide Arab filmmakers with the opportunity to gather together to create and
showcase their work, while also serving as a launchpad and network to support their long term careers. Our organization's vision is to introduce cinema professionals from around the world to the culture of the Arabic film industry, shedding light on its uniqueness and distinction in addition to showcasing Arab cinema to a global audience.
The Analytics of the first edition held between April 25th and April 30th 2022 in-person in Hollywood and virtually globally:
*During the virtual portion of the festival viewership surpassed 6500 Virtual streams of 49 films and Industry events in a 5 day span from a global audience provided free of charge.
*The physical portion of the festival held at Universal AMC Cinema was attended by over 650 guests over a 4 day span. A diverse total of 25 films were screened at Universal AMC Cinema including Live Action Feature Films, Live Action Short Films, Feature Documentaries and Short Documentaries.
