Date: Sunday Feb 2, 2025 Location: Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ Total Views: Live 2,500 Fence Spectators: 500 The Hoods to Woods Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, promotes outdoor awareness among inner-city children through snowboarding. Since its establishment in 2009 by co-founders Brian Paupaw and Omar Diaz, the foundation has been committed to making the outdoors accessible to all children, especially those from underserved communities in New York City. The program offers a unique, year-round snowboarding experience, thanks to the support of Big Snow, one of their biggest sponsors. Kids are transported weekly, provided with all necessary gear, and given free lift tickets and instruction, followed by community-building pizza dinners. Big Snow American Dream is an indoor skiing and snowboarding park within the American Dream shopping and entertainment complex, at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Big Snow and Mountain Creek have been a crucial partner for Hoods to Woods, facilitating their mission of providing snowboarding opportunities to inner-city youth.
