The Hibalag Booth Festival is an 11-Day event that complements the founding of Silliman University. Hibalag means “to meet up” and true enough, ten-folds gather in the University to commemorate the founding of an institution that educates the person as a whole. Students, friends, families, you name it—they have been witnesses to the grand celebration that is the Hibalag Booth Festival. Even alumni from all around the world use this opportunity to reunite and rekindle memories from their college years, and even forge new friendships to last a life time. The Hibalag booth area is composed of booths built by registered organizations of the university to promote their purpose. The booth area will never see a day or night that is dull, as each day has been plotted with events that are both traditional and truly innovative.
