Musefest is a local arts and crafts/music festival held in Charleston, IL. This will be the 5th year for this event. It is held on the historic Charleston square and is ever-growing. The event was originally planned by CTF ILLINOIS' art and craft programs. CTF ILLINOIS is a non-profit organization whom helps, and works, with those whom have a wide range of intellectual disabilities. The arts and craft programs have become big staples and allow the current artists and crafters, whom attend the programs, to show off their talent and sell their own work. CTF ILLINOIS decided to give back to the community by making this a festival, to not only let others in the community show off their work, but bring attention to the square and the local businesses located there.
We are dedicated to empowering individuals with diverse disabilities through services and programs that help them reach their potential in an environment that fosters respect, dignity, and success for each individual. We reach to make each town a place where people are not defined by their differences but recognized for the value they bring to their communities.
