AmEx Launches Online Skybox For Fashion Week

In its 8th season as sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, American Express plans to open up its Skybox experience, which is exclusively open to Cardmembers at Lincoln Center, to the public online.

“Season after season, American Express has been steadfast in showcasing our overall dedication to the industry through supporting both established and emerging designers, and connecting them with our Cardmembers who are passionate about fashion,” said Jessica Igoe, Vice President of Global Sponsorship Marketing, American Express. “This season, we are offering innovative ways for not only Cardmembers, but also fashion lovers everywhere, to connect with the fashion community and experience the excitement under the tents at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.” Photobucket

The American Express Skybox lounge has served as a place where Cardmembers can go between shows to relax, mingle with Fashion industry colleagues and learn from some of fashion’s leading voices.

This year, American Express will connect fashion fans online with this season’s best Skybox moments through a multimedia platform called The American Express Skybox Report, which can be found at amexskyboxreport.com starting on February 10th. The site will feature authentic content that offers an inside-look at some of fashion’s biggest names. Features of the Skybox Report will include video clips of designers, stylists and other notables; interviews with fashionable celebrities; slideshows of some of the best Skybox looks; a glimpse behind the scenes at some of New York’s hottest boutiques, and much more. In addition, the report will feature daily Twitter contests where followers can earn unprecedented access to the Skybox. On Twitter, American Express will be using the hashtag #amexfashion to promote their activation of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
