Amica Insurance Renews Commitment to Running

Amica Insurance has extended its title sponsorships of the Amica Marathon in Newport, Rhode Island, and the Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon in Seattle, Washington. With the renewals, both sponsorships will run through 2016.

"Amica is thrilled to announce its new five-year partnerships with these two races, especially given the success of the past events," said Julie Montalbano, sponsorship supervisor at Amica Insurance. "These partnerships will help ensure continued success of the marathons, while supporting the marathon community by providing an outstanding assortment of events for race enthusiasts of all ages."

Amica has sponsored the Amica Marathon, formerly known as the Breakers Marathon, for the past four years.

"Eident Sports is pleased to extend our partnership with Amica Insurance through 2016," said Brewer Rowe, executive vice president of Eident Sports Marketing, organizer of the Amica Marathon. "With Amica's vision and support of the running community, the Amica Marathon has become the fastest growing race in New England in the last couple of years and we look forward to continued growth and success."

The Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon, which takes place each year over Thanksgiving weekend, hosts nearly 17,000 runners and has also been sponsored by Amica for the past four years.

"It's a privilege to have Amica Insurance back with us for another five years," said Seattle Marathon Association Board President John Kokes. "Amica understands the importance of customer service and treating people with respect. These are values the Seattle Marathon Association has promoted for more than 40 years. We look forward to continuing this great partnership."
