Army Athletics Gets An Official Carrier

The United States Military Academy and AT&T announced today that AT&T will be the exclusive wireless sponsor of Army Athletics including the Army football, Army basketball and Army hockey teams. The multi-year agreement was secured by the Army Athletic Association and its multimedia rights holder, Army Sports Properties. Terms of the agreement were not released.

AT&T will receive signage throughout Michie Stadium and in-stadium signage for basketball games inside the Christl Arena and for hockey inside Tate Rink, as well as an extensive presence on the official goarmysports.com.

"The Army Athletic Association is very pleased to be aligned with AT&T as its official wireless partner. We look forward to growing this relationship in the years to come," said Bob Beretta, Senior Executive Associate Athletic Director for the United States Military Academy at West Point.

"We're very proud to support the men and women of West Point and to associate our brand with one of the most historic military academies in the United States," said Tom DeVito vice president and general manager for AT&T in New York and New Jersey.

AT&T's United States Military Academy partnership builds on AT&T's extensive sponsorships of NCAA schools and events. AT&T is the exclusive wireless partner of the NCAA, and has sponsorships in place with an array of NCAA D-I athletic programs.
