Asiacell Sponsors Iraq Olympic Committee

Asiacell - the largest telecommunications company in Iraq - has announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the National Iraqi Olympic Committee. Under the agreement, Asiacell will exclusively sponsor all the Committee's activities and the Iraqi Football Association's national teams.

Asiacell was established in the city of Suleimaniah in 1999 and began its first commercial operations in 2000. Asiacell now serves 8.1 million subscribers throughout Iraq.
