ATP Tour Unveils Official Timekeeper

Less than a month after becoming the official timekeeper of Formula One, Swiss watchmaker Rolex has added the ATPWorld Tour to its growing portfolio of prestigious partnerships. The new multi-year partnership will make Rolex the Official Timekeeper of the ATP. In addition, Rolex has extended its existing sponsorship of the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 in London.

Rolex has a long-standing relationship with tennis dating back to 1978 when it sponsored Wimbledon for the first time. In addition to the ATP World Tour Finals, the brand also sponsors the Australian Open, Monte Carlo Rolex Masters and Shanghai Rolex Masters, while counting Roger Federer, Justine Henin, Juan Martin Del Potro, Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Caroline Wozniacki, Ana Ivanovic and Li Na among its family of top tennis endorsers. The new partnership sees Rolex become an Official Gold Partner of the ATP World Tour.

“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Rolex, such a prestigious brand with an exceptional sporting heritage," Brad Drewett, ATP Executive Chairman & President, said. "This new partnership underlines the global appeal of our game to both fans and sponsors alike – it’s a very exciting time to be involved in men’s professional tennis.”
