Big Ten Championship Game Gets Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace

StubHub is now the Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace for the conference's inaugural Big Ten Football Championship Game in December, extending a relationship that already includes Big Ten basketball tournament games.

"StubHub is excited to expand its relationship with the Big Ten to include its first ever football championship game," said Greg Ivry, manager of sports business development for StubHub. "Fans can rely on us to make this trip, as we consistently provide the most convenient and safest way to buy tickets to these types of landmark games."

"The Big Ten is pleased to continue our relationship with StubHub and Big Ten Sports Properties to provide fans with a ticketing option that has a track record of secure transactions," said Scott Bailey of Big Ten Sports Properties. "As we look forward to our inaugural football championship event in December, we know our fans will appreciate having a safe, secure and convenient way to get into the game."

StubHub marketing assets will include online placements, radio spots during regular season football games and during the championship game, a courtside sign during the Big Ten Basketball Tournament, basketball in-game promotion, and the company will be a presenting sponsor of one basketball half-time contest. StubHub will also have a big presence on televised Big Ten football and basketball games, including 30-second spots, as well as a "Top Ticket" feature in 13 episodes of Big Ten Football and Beyond.

This sponsorship was negotiated by Big Ten Sports Properties, Learfield's entity that manages sponsorship rights for the Big Ten Conference.
