CEO: Beijing Olympics 'Not Good Enough' For Lenovo
Chinese computer manufacturer, Lenovo, looked at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games as a turning point of sorts, a platform to showcase its products to the world writes The Australian in an interview published today with CEO Yang Yuanqing.
"The Beijing Olympics were very good for brand awareness in countries like the US and Argentina, but not good enough. If I was the chief executive then I would have spent more money to build the brand outside China to leverage off the Olympics."
