Colorado Spirits Start-Up Looks To Make It In NY With First Sports Sponsorship

For a Colorado spirits start-up that only launched its signature gin and vodka products this past Summer, signing a partnership with the world's most famous arena is a pretty big deal. Spring44 Vodka, Spring44 Honey Vodka and Spring44 Gin, based out of Denver, and made with Colorado Rocky Mountain artesian spring water, has signed its first sports marketing partnership. The multi-year marketing partnership with the New York Rangers was announced this week.

"Spring44 is thrilled to be aligned with the New York Rangers as we continue to build our brand within the New York market," said Jeff Lindauer, CEO for Spring44. "We can only hope that Spring44 Gin establishes itself as a favorite among gin aficionados with as loyal of a fan base as the New York Rangers. It is an honor to have the Madison Square Garden platform to help promote the brand."

"We are proud that Spring44 has chosen the New York Rangers and Madison Square Garden for their first-ever sports marketing partnership," said Greg Economou, EVP of revenue performance, MSG Sports. "Our passionate and loyal Rangers fans proudly represent New York, and this marketing partnership will provide Spring44 Gin with valuable brand exposure as they look to further build presence in this market."

As part of the marketing partnership, Spring44 Gin branding will be featured on the LED and GardenVision center-hung scoreboard at Madison Square Garden. In addition, fans will have the chance to participate in promotional activities in-arena presented by Spring44 Gin.

Spring 44's products are currently only available in Colorado and New York and its partnerships to date have mapped that distribution footprint, as an upcoming sponsor of the 13th annual New York Taste event and having recently conducted a sponsorship of the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival in Colorado.
