Copart and Carl Team Up For 2010

Four years ago, Carl Edwards won the Copart 300 at Auto Club Speedway, now Copart, an online vehicle auction service, is hoping Carl will win for Copart again.

Copart today officially announced that the company has entered into an agreement with Roush Fenway Racing to sponsor Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Ford. Copart will appear as the primary sponsor on the No. 60 for 16 races beginning in 2010 and will appear as an associate sponsor on the Ford for the remaining races.

“Copart is proud to be a part of Roush Fenway Racing and we look forward to a winning season with Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Copart Nationwide car,” said Jay Adair, president of Copart. “We feel this new relationship will further our efforts in becoming a well-known name among NASCAR fans as a great place to find vehicles.”

Edwards is a fan of auctions and used to purchase vehicles from an auction that Copart now owns. He’d fix the vehicles up with his dad and then resell them.

“I’m very excited about the Copart relationship,” stated Edwards. “It will be fun to get the word out on what they do and how many vehicles are out there. I look forward to having Copart as part of our team next year and taking the No. 60 Copart Ford to victory lane.”
