DeWalt Leverages UFC Tie-In To Drive Traffic To Channel Partners
DeWalt, the Baltimore, MD-based manufacturer of industrial power tools and accessories, is turning to a new tie-in with the Ultimate Fighting Championship to drive business for its local retail partners.
"DeWalt's "brand slogan 'Guaranteed Tough' is a perfect match that represents what the league and fighters stand for in the Ultimate Fighting Championship Series," Scott Moore, DEWALT's VP of Sales said. "DEWALT is proud to be a partner of UFC 129 in Toronto."
For UFC 129, DeWalt will run UFC promotions at Toronto-based retail partner and construction supply superstore, Investments Hardware Ltd.
"It's big for us, big for UFC and BIG for DEWALT fans," commented Joe Martino, IHL's VP of Operations.
Store visitors in the three-day run-up to Saturday's UFC 129 will have the opportunity to win UFC price packages as well as get autographs during fighter meet-and-greets.
