Electrolux Launches American Idol For Moms
Forget worldwide fame, national tours and recording deals. How about a new washer and dryer? Electrolux has partnered with American Idol to launch Mom Idol leading up to Mother's Day.
Fans can nominate their mom for the Electrolux-backed sweepstakes by writing a short essay about why they are an 'Idol Mom.'
Electrolux will then select five finalists based on a variety of criteria including enthusiasm for the Electrolux brand, clarity of expression, articulation and comportment. The winner will then be selected by America's vote.
The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the American Idol Finale, a complete makeover, $5000 to a charity of the winner's choice, and a $13,000 suite of Electrolux appliances. Approximate retail value = $44,900.
