Enterprise Becomes Official Rent-A-Car of the NHL and NHLPA

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the National Hockey League Players Association and the NHL have signed a multi-year agreement naming Enterprise as the Official Rent-A-Car of the NHLPA and the NHL.

Elements of the agreement include Enterprise sponsorship of NHL television and Internet coverage, camera-visible signage during games and events, on-site displays at select events, and a mix of marketing rights and in-arena assets and promotion at the Club level.

"This unique agreement with Enterprise capitalizes on the NHL's ability to unite all League platforms, including assets for all 30 member Clubs, as a means to activate," said Keith Wachtel, the NHL's Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing. "Through this partnership, Enterprise gains national and local visibility to a highly desirable and growing audience that will directly connect with their network of thousands of local branch offices."

"Partnering this world class car rental company with the world's best hockey players will mutually increase the exposure of Enterprise and NHL players across North America through various marketing initiatives," added Mike Ouellet, NHLPA Chief of Business Affairs. "NHLPA members look forward to working together with Enterprise to activate marketing programs in each of the 30 NHL markets."

As the preferred Rent-A-Car of the NHL and NHLPA, Enterprise will be the presenting sponsor of the "Plus / Minus Leaders" feature on NHL.com and NHL Network. The "Plus / Minus Leaders Presented By Enterprise Rent-A-Car" connects the membership and loyalty rewards service known as Enterprise Plus with the NHL statistic that accounts for on-ice play scoring or being scored on.
