While riots, car burnings and arrests marked this year's real Bastille Day in Paris, stateside July 14th is mostly marked with more gentille activities like street fairs, Francophilic treats and fireworks. We'll join in the celebration of France's independence with a really quick look at how some of the major Bastille Day festivals in the Etats Unis are fairing a la parrainage!

Bastille Day NYC

One-day festival on 60th street featuring a family friendly line-up of food, music and games. Eurostar is presenting sponsor with secondary sponsorship coming from a host of brands including American Airlines, Lactalis, Sud de France, Pernod-Ricard and others.

Bastille Day Ball NYC

The Bastille Day Ball, a one night upscale celebration of the French holiday, offers a more exclusive experience at NYC's China Club. Sponsors include Tocqueville Management, Deloitte, Société Générale - Corporate Investment Banking and Air France.

Chicago French Bastille Day

One day family-friendly festival in Lincoln Park. The audience is as eclectic as Chicago's french community: young married couples from Wicker Park, families and kids from Lincoln Park, mid 20's urban dwellers from the West Loop, students from UIC, business owners from the North Shore and affluent consumers from the North Shore. Sponsorship opps top out at $25k.

Bastille Day Los Angeles

The eighth annual Bastil Day LA Festival reaches more than 10,000 visitors every year with a unique mix of gourmet food, wine, fun games, family entertainment and more. Sponsorship opps run anywhere from $2,000 for entry-level sponsorships to $60k for title.
