Florida Becomes 19th NCAA Property to Ink Sponsorship with StubHub

StubHub, the online ticket marketplace owned by eBay, has agreed to sponsor the University of Florida athletic program. The sponsorship was facilitated through Gator Sports Marketing, an IMG College property.


As a sponsor of the Florida Gators, StubHub marketing assets will be visible across team football and basketball initiatives, including in-game signage, radio spots, online elements and more.

"StubHub is thrilled to team with the Florida Gators as a proud sponsor," said Danielle Maged, head of partnerships and business development at StubHub. "Gator fans are among the most passionate and loyal in all of sports and we look forward to marketing our services to them.

"We are excited to add StubHub to our elite list of sponsorship partners," said Cathy Weeden, vice president and general manager of IMG College's Gator Sports Marketing. "We thank StubHub for its commitment to college athletics and look forward to showcasing their services to fans throughout the state and country."

On a side note, IMG annouced today that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of ISP Sports has closed, making it the largest provider of marketing, licensing and media services to universities in the world. With today's completed acquisition of ISP, IMG College now employs over 700 people in 75 offices throughout U.S. with annual sales of over $400m.
