GM Place to become Rogers Arena
The west coast will soon have its own Rogers Arena.
The Vancouver Canucks confirmed at a news conference Tuesday that the new naming sponsor for the team’s arena is Rogers Communication.
The two parties have signed a ten-year deal which gives Rogers broadcast, naming and wireless rights for the Canucks. This is the first time any company has secured all three sponsorship strands.
