IOC Probing Possible Conflict of Interest Caused by Sponsorships
The International Olympic Committee has launched an investigation into two South Korean sponsorship deals and whether they present a conflict of interest for Pyeongchang's 2018 Winter Games bid.
The IOC said on Friday it was examining a sponsorship with the International Skating Union (ISU) by Korean Airlines as well as a deal involving Korean electronics firm Samsung with the international rowing federation, FISA.
