Jaguar Named Official Vehicle of British Tennis

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) today announced that Jaguar has become the Official Vehicle supplier of British Tennis. The partnership, which lasts for three years and will make Jaguar the Official Supplier to the AEGON British Tennis Series as well as the AEGON GB Davis Cup Team.


In addition to the deal, Jaguar has agreed to sponsor the AEGON Masters Tennis 2010 at the Royal Albert Hall, an event that will feature Greg Rusedski and former Jaguar spokesperson, Tim Henman.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jaguar as a partner of British Tennis and into our ever growing sponsor family of world class brands," Roger Draper, Chief Executive of the LTA said. "In recognising the work Jaguar are doing through their Academy of Sport, we clearly share an interest in helping develop the young stars of the future. We are therefore looking forward to developing a close working partnership with one of Britain’s most iconic brands.”

The agreement with the LTA includes access to the National Tennis Centre which will provide an opportunity to support the ‘Jaguar Academy of Sport.

Jaguar will also receive a host of commercial rights at the LTA’s major grass court events in the Summer including the AEGON Championships at The Queen’s Club and their ATP and WTA events in Birmingham and Eastbourne. The British luxury car manufacturer which is owned by Indian auto company, Tata Motors, will have exclusive rights to showcase the Jaguar range of XJ, XK and XF cars.
