Jamba Juice Launches Multi-year Partnership with the WNBA

The WNBA and Jamba Juice have entered into multiyear relationship that will highlight both companies’ commitment to promoting fitness and healthy nutrition. The partnership is the national juice retailer's first with a professional sports league.

This alliance will kick-off at Jamba Juice in Santa Monica Boulevard next week, where top WNBA athletes will be onsite to discuss healthy eating and exercise. For the remainder of this season, several fan promotions, along with WNBA player appearances, will take place in select Jamba Juice retail locations in WNBA markets. As part of the alliance, WNBA FIT will feature exclusive content including nutrition and exercise tips for fans.

“Jamba Juice shares the WNBA’s commitment to promoting an active lifestyle that helps Americans of all ages stay fit, healthy and vibrant,” said James D. White, chairman, president, and CEO, Jamba Juice Company. “Our mission is to inspire people and communities to embrace fitness and nutrition goals that can contribute to healthier, more fulfilling lives. We look forward to working together with the WNBA to create positive change for both fans and communities across the country.”

"The WNBA is proud to join a progressive brand like Jamba Juice whose passion for health and its dedication to quality are the keys to its Company success," said WNBA President, Donna Orender. "As we align our commitment to improving the lives of our fans and young people, this new program will provide valuable information and encourage them to make healthier eating choices.”

In subsequent years of the agreement, Jamba Juice will conduct national promotions that will include WNBA FIT-themed point-of-sale materials in key Jamba Juice retail locations, in-arena signage, and digital and social media. In addition, Jamba Juice will participate in several marquee WNBA events, including the annual All-Star Game and Inspiring Women Luncheon.
