London 2012 Ambush Police Called 'Most Stringent Ever'

Getting into the Olympic spirit may be a bit tougher for businesses not among the 53 official partners of the 2012 London Olympics. The legislation passed around this year's Olympics is being called the toughest ever.

From the Guardian:

"With just a little more than three months to go until the opening of the London 2012 Games, attention is increasingly turning to what many legal experts consider to be the most stringent restrictions ever put in place to protect sponsors' brands and broadcasting rights, affecting every athlete, Olympics ticket holder and business in the UK."

Numerous businesses have already been threatened with legal action, but while small businesses, such as pubs around the Games, are warned about posting Olympic signs, the more daunting task may come in monitoring Olympic-related social media for breaches of ambush legislation.
