Making Moola Off Real Madrid's New Deal

Sponsorship ROI isn't supposed to be a gamble, but in this case it seems it may be.

Yesterday we wrote about Bwin's renewal of its shirt deal with Real Madrid through 2013. We didn't have many details at the time (financials included), but this one did pique our interest.

According to this website, Bwin is offering bettors the opportunity to place a unique wager on Real Madrid winning the Champions League title by the time its sponsorship deal ends in 2013.

The bet is open to customers at Bwin.com until tomorrow. In order to participate, users must back Real Madrid to win the Champions League title by 2013. The site will then hold a drawing where 100 customers will get odds of 100/1 on a maximum stake of ten Euros.

Bwin is not available to U.S. customers.
