Nets Latest Promotion: Tax Returns

There aren't many experiences more horrifying than Nets basketball and taxes, right now. Unfortunately for Nets fans, these two experiences overlap each Spring, but thanks to the newest New Jersey Nets partner you can knock out two birds with one stone this Friday at the IZOD Center.

Roni Deutch Tax Center will be offering coupons for a free New Jersey income tax return to state residents this Friday's game against the Orlando Magic at Izod Center. Retail value = $29.

"Obviously, this has been a challenging season on the court, but we remain committed to delivering for our partners and our fans," Nets chief executive Brett Yormark said. "This is another example of how we can do both."

In addition to coupons, the Nets newest sponsor will have representatives at the game to answer tax-related questions.

Kyle Koster of the Chicago Sun-Times writes "the only catch is that you have to attend a Nets game, raising the age-old question of how much you're willing to sacrifice in the name of a bigger rebate."

The Nets are 6-53 with a shot at the all-time worst NBA season record.
