New York Yankees Secure Solar Partner

One of the the world largest solar companies has become an official sponsor of the New York Yankees. Canadian Solar, which is already a sponsor of MLB's San Francisco Giants and the NHL's San Jose Sharks, develops and markets solar power products in Canada and internationally. Terms of the Yankees deal were not released.

Canadian Solar was founded in 2001 and is based in Kitchener, Canada.
