NY Rangers To Wear DKNY-Branded Practice Jerseys

DKNY has signed a new partnership with the New York Rangers, its second with a professional sports team in the New York-area. As part of the new deal reported by WWD, the Rangers will wear DKNY-branded practice jerseys for the rest of the season.

In 2010, the fashion brand cut a deal with the Yankees to put its iconic logo in the stadium outfield.

DKNY, launched by New York fashion designer Donna Karan in 1989, has grown to include more than seventy retail stores throughout the globe. LVMH acquired the company in 2001.

In addition to exposure throughout the rest of the season, DKNY will likely get some added value out of the the behind-the-scenes special that HBO is currently filming about the Rangers called 24/7 Flyers/Rangers. All of which presumably led DKNY's PR person to tweet in a fit of excitement...
